# Dragon Ball ownership and project licensing

DBZSim is an unofficial fan-made free-flight technology prototype. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or an official product of the Dragon Ball rights holders.

Dragon Ball was created by Akira Toriyama. Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, their characters, names, designs, settings, logos and other franchise material belong to their respective rights holders.

## Software licence scope

The MIT licence in [LICENSE](LICENSE) applies to the original software contributions and other software whose authors have released it under that licence. It does not grant rights to Dragon Ball intellectual property, trademarks, character designs, or other third-party material. The procedural generation of a fan depiction does not transfer ownership of the underlying character or design.

The supplied anime reference images are not included in the repository or deployed website. The scene uses procedural shaders rather than imported anime frames, music or ripped game models.

## Upstream software

WaterCuda and STRATUM notices are preserved in [LICENSE](LICENSE). The bundled CUDA WebShader compiler and runtime retain their [MIT licence](vendor/cuda-webshader/LICENSE) and [third-party notices](vendor/cuda-webshader/THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md). Project-specific source credits are in [CREDITS.md](CREDITS.md).
